The BL40p engineered for the back-end enterprise space features dual 2.8GHz Xeon MP processors (upgradeable to 4) a 2MB L3 cache per processor 1GB PC2100 ECC SDRAM (expandable to 12GB) an Integrated Smart Array 5i Plusstorage controller and four hot-plug SCSI drives. Using the ProLiant BL40p in conjunction with other BL servers your can reduce expenses by managing remotely from anywhere in the world with the advanced version of Integrated Lights Out (iLO). In addition an integrated management system and full compatibility with the Insight Manager Suite gives you maximum virtual presence and control management and health monitoring with blade visualization of all your applications.
